Marco Whittaker is the founder of The Whittaker Foundation and a certified lead and mold inspector dedicated to protecting families from unsafe housing conditions across New Jersey and New York. His work has brought him face-to-face with parents struggling to keep their children safe from hazards like peeling lead paint and hidden mold, inspiring him to expand his impact beyond inspections and into community action.

A passionate marathon runner, Marco views running as a symbol of resilience, endurance, and second chances. This belief led him to create Run for Second Chances, a mentorship and athletics program designed to empower inner city youth with confidence, discipline, and hope. Through The Whittaker Foundation, Marco unites his commitment to environmental health, workforce training, and youth empowerment with the goal of building healthier homes, stronger families, and brighter futures for all.

Faith Leader, Community Advocate, and Nonprofit Board President

Rev. Bolívar Flores is a respected faith leader and community advocate who has dedicated his ministry to serving underserved populations across New Jersey. As Board President of the New Jersey Coalition of Latino Pastors and Ministers, he has been a strong voice for equity, justice, and opportunity, working closely with civic organizations, reentry programs, and healthcare initiatives. Rev. Flores brings to The Whittaker Foundation a deep commitment to empowering communities through faith, service, and advocacy. His leadership and vision strengthen the foundation’s mission to create safer homes, stronger families, and brighter futures for all.

Entrepreneur, Community Advocate, and Creative Director

Rita Duran is an entrepreneur and community advocate with more than two decades of experience in communications, workforce training, and nonprofit development. She is the founder of several ventures in New Jersey, including HotnessTV,  and the New Jersey Cannabis Club, and has dedicated her career to building platforms that empower underserved voices. With a background in human resources, media, and community outreach, Rita brings a unique combination of organizational leadership and creative vision to The Whittaker Foundation. Her commitment to youth empowerment, environmental justice, and second chances reflects the foundation’s mission to create healthier homes, stronger families, and brighter futures.

Director of Outreach, NJ Reentry Corporation

Jada Fulmore is a dedicated community leader with extensive experience in outreach, advocacy, and reentry services. As the Director of Outreach for the New Jersey Reentry Corporation, she has played a vital role in connecting individuals and families with resources that support second chances, workforce opportunities, and community reintegration. Her passion for empowering underserved populations aligns closely with The Whittaker Foundation’s mission to build healthier, stronger, and more equitable communities.
